My kids love to see the tractors and equipment. The people that were running that particular building were very nice and taught my kids a lot about the tractors. Both of my kids love large construction farm equipment. Thought it was nice that they had different years and different types on display for them to check out in person and get to interact with. Would highly recommend that if you are here for the Carlton county Fair that you check out this building.

Awesome fair. We drive up from the twin cities every year for the rides and demo derby. Fireworks rock too!

I'm never going to the state fair again; this is the perfect size event -- animals, delicious food, games, rides, great events. Low stress, so easy to get in and out. Love it!!! We'll be back every year!!

My favorite fair. I have gone since I was very young, now my kids love it also. Great food, rides, and things to see.

This is the best fair in this area, hands down. Plenty of animals, which is something many of the fairs around here lack. The barns are cute, and kept clean. Lots of food options and plenty of rides.

By far the best fair in northern MN. Now I'm not into midway stuff, so I don't count that at all in my ratings. First the place is accessible. You don't have to walk miles just to get to the gates. Prices are reasonable to enter, even the food is reasonable. And there are some varieties. You can clog an artery with deep fried Oreos, or have an egg roll. This fair has vendors. We have found vendors few and far between at other fairs in the area. Which I found very strange. The crowds? Not oppressive. I don't enjoy the huge fair because there are simply way too many people. This fair is well organized. And it shows. Its clean compact and the facilities are well stocked.

I have been going to the Carlton County Fair for most of my life. It is the cleanest, friendliest, most well organized fair I have ever visited. I grew up in Moose Lake with Susan Gustafson and I was so happy to see her, Roger and their family honored today as the Farm Family of the Year. They are wonderful folks and they deserve this show of respect and support. I will be coming to the "Barnum Fair" every year for as long as I am able. Thank you all for all you do to keep this tradition alive and healthy.

Great food. Great grandstand events. And great rides... Nowhere better for the money.

They treat their staff, patrons, and entertainment VERY well. Lots to offer and overall, a fantastic experience.
